Light Panel


About the program.

Light Panel was designed to be an easy way for running various programs. It is very small application that stays on desktop. Light Panel will contains all your favorite programs, links, documents and urls that you place on it. Just drag-and-drop any object from an explorer window to Light Panel bar. Clicking on appeared icon will run linked program or, if it is document, its associated program. Also you can create buttons for exploring any folder on your computer as a multi-item menu. Program allows to have unlimited amount of icons for files at its bar. Number of folder speed buttons depends on width of screen. It is posiible to name any folder speed button as you wish and reorder its.
Light Panel has another very usefull ability - it may quick store you notes into any text file you select. For example, if you are reading a mail and seeing an interesting paragraph that you wish to store for future refering, you can just select by mouse this part of text, copy it to clipboard and click on Light Panel icon in tray. Light Panel will scan clipboard for your text and store it in file. The name of file may be choosen by you. To do this, press right mouse button on Light Panel tray icon, select "Files" in appeared menu and pick "Create new..." item. You will be prompted for new notes file name. So you can have many notes files for various themes and switch between its. Also, it is possible to view and edit your current notes file by choosing corresponding item of Light Panel tray menu.


Program capabilities.
The program allows to:
- quick run favorite programs or open favorite files by one-click at Light Panel bar icon;
- create unlimited amount of file icons and futher quick run or open it;
- create speed buttons for explore your favotite folders as menu;
- quick store your notes in file named by you and save at any file you wish;
- quick view and edit current notes file;

Registration of the program and limitation of unregistered version.
This software is released as SHAREWARE.
You may use this software for evaluation purposes without charge for unlimited period, but some restrictions are presents in noneregistered version. For properly working version you are expected to register this software.

Registration gains access to the some advanced features:
- finding more than 100 files for images at once;
- saving images to other graphic format files without nag;

Registration gains you the right to use all minor versions (1.xx) of the program in registered mode.

Registration procedure
For registration of Light Panel all you need do is make a payment via online order page: http://kslsoft.virtualave.net/fpanreg.htm.
Or follow the steps.
- Select "Help" button from toolbar and Registration from popup menu.
- "Registration" dialog box will appear.
- Click on "Register online" button.
- Follow instructions appeared in registration secure server page.
- After filling and sending registration form, within 48 hours, you will get (by e-mail) registration key and instructions to apply.
The ordering page is on a secure server, ensuring that your confidential information remains confidential.

Also you can pay by check or wire transfers. For instructions please see ORDER.TXT file delivered with the program.

  • Upon receipt of your registration fee with the completed registration form you will receive a E-mail with registration key which will correspond to the registration name given in the registration form.

  • Upon receipt of your registration key you should start Light Panel, select Help -> Registration, window "Registration" will appear. In field User name enter your name as it is in e-mail with registration key, in field Registration key enter registration key. Press Register button. If the infed information is correct, the registration will pass successfully. All limitations of unregistered copy will be removed. Otherwise it is necessary to verify information and repeat registration. It is a good idea to store somewhere else this data to avoid loss of registration (if you reinstall your system the registration key may be lost).

  • Note: If you haven't got a confirmation letter with your registration code within a reasonable amount of time (two business days for credit card payments or two weeks for other payments), please notify us about that! It may mean, by the way, that the e-mail address in your order form is invalid. We're very sorry for any inconvenience caused by those delays.
